The R.O.S.E. Fund (USA)

The R.O.S.E. Fund (Regaining One’s Self Esteem) is a New England non-profit, chartered to break the silence and the cycle of domestic violence (DV) and teen dating violence and abuse (TDVA).  The R.O.S.E. Fund provides services to women who have been brutalized. The GLBTQ Domestic Violence Project (GLBTQ-DVP) and Gay & Lesbian Advocates & Defenders (GLAD) have filed a complaint with the Massachusetts Commission Against Discrimination on behalf of a gay male survivor of domestic violence because the R.O.S.E. Fund denied his application for facial reconstruction surgery funding.  The Commission previously found that there was probable cause in this case that discrimination had occurred.
