In 2011, Tommy Theollyn, a woman who identifies as a man, petitioned the McIntosh County, Georgia public schools to allow her daughter to use the boys’ room, as she claims her daughter now identifies as a boy. The effort appears to have ended with the school system rejecting the petition.
