Transgender Europe’s Trans Murder Monitoring project is a comparative, ongoing qualitative-quantitative research project conducted by Transgender Europe. It released a “report” that demonstrated that 238 trans persons will be “added to the list to be remembered, mourned and honoured” for the Transgender Day of Remembrance.
The data provided by the project does not indicate that the vast majority of these folks were killed by Men. Additionally, the data reveal that not all of the murders were related to the trans status of the victim. Nevertheless, trans activists will use this data to support their contention that transgender people are the most oppressed people on the planet.
