Teresa Cross v. Dollar General (USA)

In 2012, Teresa Cross, a transgender woman with an aggravated assault conviction, claimed a clerk at the Dollar General store in Ft. Worth, Texas kicked her out of the store after she corrected an employee about her gender identity.

Cross claimed she would file a complaint under the city’s nondiscrimination ordinance, which was amended to include gender identity protections following the Rainbow Lounge raid in 2009.  To date, there has been no other reported activity on this case.

FW woman alleges she was kicked out of Dollar General store for being transgender.
